  2. Open the focus-area selector from the chat box and choose your jurisdiction (and, optionally, a focus area to direct your research — see How focus areas work).

Interface elements

  • Chat input field — type your question in the question box

  • Think button — always on to enable more comprehensive answers

  • Chat settings — adjust settings for the current conversation

  • Clear / New chat — start a fresh conversation

Ask a question

  1. Choose your jurisdiction (and optionally a focus area) from the selector.

  2. Type your question in the input field and press Enter.

  3. Review the answer and check the citations. Clicking on the citations will take you to the part of the source Nylon relied on.

  4. Ask follow-up questions to refine your research.

Tip: Ask the AI to use a diagram when it helps—e.g., "Explain this as a diagram."

What it can do

  • Conversational answers with follow-ups

  • Explain complex concepts clearly

  • Point you to further reading and sources

  • Research across the full breadth of law in your chosen jurisdiction, directed (but not limited) by your chosen focus area

Important

  • You are responsible for verifying sources and accuracy.

  • Nylon may struggle with complex math calculations.

  • Answers provided by Nylon are not a substitute for professional legal advice.
